Vowly vs Sonas

Vowly vs Sonas — for venues.

Sonas runs your venue's operational side — booking calendar, BEOs, kitchen orders, staff rotas, billing. Vowly is the branded couple-side guest experience layer (invitation, RSVP, guest list, QR check-in, photo wall, reviews). Use both — they handle different stages of the same wedding.

When to pick Vowly
  • You want couples to land on a co-branded hub with your name and accent color
  • You want every couple's guest list and RSVPs flowing into one dashboard you can sort
  • Your day-of staff want QR check-in on a tablet, not printed clipboards
  • You want post-wedding reviews automatically collected and featured on your venue page
  • You don't want a six-month implementation — Vowly's pilot is live in a day
When to pick Sonas
  • You need a full venue management ERP — booking calendar, BEOs, kitchen, billing in one tool
  • You run a multi-venue hotel group with deep operational workflows
  • You already have Sonas and just need the missing couple-side piece (use both — that is the typical setup)
Questions couples ask

Good to know

Do I have to replace Sonas?

No — Sonas is your operational backbone, Vowly is the couple-side guest experience. Most venues on Vowly keep Sonas (or Perfect Venue, or Aisle Planner) for bookings + BEOs + kitchen, and add Vowly for the part the couple does with their guests.

How do the two systems share data?

They don't need to. The couple is the bridge — Sonas knows about the booking, Vowly knows about the guests. Your front-of-house team uses Sonas; your couples use Vowly; your door staff uses Vowly's check-in app on the day.

Who pays?

During pilot we bill the venue per wedding ($39 each after the first three are free). You resell to the couple at whatever you charge for the package — $99-$249 add-on is typical.

How quickly can we pilot?

Same week. Set up your venue page in 5 minutes (logo + accent color), generate a branded invite link, send to your next couple. Their hub is live the moment they click. No procurement, no integration sprint.
